I've always been amused and thrilled by the Dragonfly and Damselfly way of flying. Perfect gyroscopic moves, lightning fast turns and sudden changes of direction in a fraction of a second. So, why shouldn't I try to capture one dragonfly while in-flight? ;) And there I went.
For the task set I used the Lumix FZ300 cam with mounted Olympus EE-1 Red Dot Sight as I counted on its fast f2.8 lens. Results were a bit noisy due to a small sensor and ISO320. However, details were solid and images came out still acceptable. Here is one of the images captured:
